Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee oil and gas construction projects for Gulf Asia Contracting in Doha, Qatar. The role involves comprehensive management of project lifecycles, from planning and execution to final delivery, ensuring all projects meet stringent timelines, budgetary constraints, and high-quality and safety standards. This position requires expertise across Civil, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Spearhead the entire project execution process, from initial concept through to final project handover.
• Maintain rigorous control over project timelines, financial expenditures, workforce allocation, material procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Provide oversight and direction for all civil, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation construction activities.
• Guarantee strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, quality benchmarks, and specific project technical requirements.
• Facilitate seamless coordination and communication among clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Actively track project advancement, generate detailed progress reports, and proactively address and resolve any issues arising on the construction site.
• Contribute to and support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final project handover phases.

  Mandatory Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 20 years of progressive experience specifically within the oil and gas construction sector.
  • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of various construction disciplines including civil, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles and a strong track record in managing complex construction projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with the capacity to perform effectively under demanding conditions.
