About the role
This is a full-time remote Virtual Assistant position with a small, values-led tech agency that works mainly with female entrepreneurs. The team helps founders launch and grow through organized workflows, polished content, and dependable administrative support. The role is intended for someone who wants a long-term position and can grow into more responsibility over time.
The work week is 40 hours, and the schedule must overlap with U.S. Central Time mornings and early afternoons. Compensation is $2.35 USD per hour. The start date is flexible and can begin as soon as possible for the right person.
Core duties
You will handle a mix of content creation, inbox management, organization, client coordination, and light project support. The position includes creating and refining social media assets, supporting communication, and keeping systems organized so day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Application instructions
Applicants must follow the submission steps exactly. Incomplete applications are not considered. If you previously applied incorrectly, you may submit again.
Email your application with the subject line: Application — Full-Time VA — [Your Name].
Include your résumé, portfolio, a required first task, responses to the screening questions, and a short intro video under 2 minutes.
Portfolio and first task requirements
Your portfolio must include 3 Canva samples, either as links or exported PNGs. If you do not have client work, create sample pieces that show: an Instagram carousel cover with two interior slides, a promotional single image, and a simple 3-slide pitch deck.
For the required first task, include either a 150–250 word Instagram caption on the topic “Why systems free up time for business growth,” or a public link to a 3-slide Canva carousel or real example you made for a small business.
You must also state your earliest possible start date, confirm that you can work 40 hours per week, and acknowledge the posted pay rate.
Selection process
The hiring flow includes résumé and portfolio review, a short written task, a 30-minute Zoom interview, placement into the applicant pool or immediate hiring, direct work with the team to cover current needs, and a mandatory two-week trial before full-time hire.
During the trial, the team will review your skills, communication style, and fit with the company culture. Applicants can expect to hear back within 5 business days confirming receipt, and within 2 weeks regarding next steps. The company is hiring both for immediate needs and to build a future talent pool.
What the team values
The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, organized, comfortable with feedback, and able to communicate clearly in English. The company values honesty, integrity, a growth mindset, and the ability to turn chaos into calm while supporting entrepreneurs professionally.
