Overview
This contract opportunity is for a Data & Reporting Analyst based in Toronto, Ontario. The position is a hybrid role with two days per week on site and is scheduled for a 16-month term starting in August 2026. The role focuses on enterprise reporting, dashboard creation, data management, and coordination of audit-related activities. The successful candidate will work with a range of business partners to turn data into practical insights, keep reporting workflows running smoothly, and support better decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards and reporting tools.
- Maintain data pipelines, source connections, integrations, and reporting datasets.
- Organize scheduled and one-off business reports for several stakeholders.
- Interpret data and translate findings into insights that help guide operational and strategic choices.
- Assist with audit processes by collecting documents, monitoring requests, and responding within required timelines.
- Spot ways to improve reporting workflows, speed, and access to data.
- Serve as a go-to resource for data literacy, reporting standards, and business intelligence tools.
Required Qualifications
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with stakeholder coordination and organization abilities.
- Comfort working independently and balancing several priorities in a fast-moving setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting audit, compliance, risk, or governance work.
- Exposure to security, operational risk, or regulated environments.
- Education in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
