Our inclusive culture is a cornerstone of our success, enabling us to attract and retain top talent globally.We are not just about conducting clinical trials; we are about building a community where every team member has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the pharmaceutical industry.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes across multiple environments.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot system issues using logs, diagnostics, and monitoring toolsDevelop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and BashDesign and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deploymentConfigure and maintain web servers (IIS) and support application hosting environmentsDeploy, manage, and scale applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Build and maintain Docker images, Docker files, and containerized environmentsImplement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release cycles and reliable deploymentsContribute to improving system architecture and adopting best DevOps practicesQualificationsBSc/BA in computer science, software engineering or relevant disciplineFull working proficiency in EnglishAt least 3 years of experience as a DevOps EngineerWindows and Linux administration skillsSolid understanding of system internals, troubleshooting, and log analysisKnowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and SSL/TLSProficiency with Git (branching, merging, rebasing) and modern workflowsExperience with Azure DevOps and building CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)Helm and cert-manager are a plusFamiliarity with container registriesExperience managing IIS (Nginx/Tomcat is a plus)Working knowledge of MS SQL for support and diagnosticsProgramming/scripting:Required: .NET (C# / ASP.NET) for understanding application build and deployment processesPreferred: Node.js to enable development of extensions for Azure DevOpsNice to have: Python or Go for creating supporting tools and scriptsExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix)Understanding of modern architectures: monolith, microservices, event-driven, serverlessAdditional InformationStable, privately-owned company, organically growing since 1995Opportunities to work remotely in LatviaIntensive induction program, technical and industry-related trainings for an optimal start and continuous developmentDiverse projects that include but are not limited to web and desktop apps, ERP system, BPM system, document management system and moreFriendly and supportive atmosphere in a committed teamInternational environment, with colleagues around the worldOpportunities to quickly see the results of your work
