Role overview
This position is for a Junior Data Analyst who will help turn raw information into useful insights that support business decisions, operational monitoring, and strategic work. The role involves working with data from different sources, preparing it for review, and assisting teams with clear, reliable reporting.
You will support senior analysts and other cross-functional teams by cleaning and organizing datasets, checking for accuracy, spotting simple trends, and keeping information consistent. The role offers practical exposure to analytics workflows, business metrics, and reporting processes, making it a good fit for someone building foundational data analysis experience.
Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and a readiness to learn are important in this position. Key responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and structure information from multiple data sources
- Carry out basic analysis to surface trends, patterns, and observations
- Check datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Maintain datasets along with related documentation
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and concise summaries
- Respond to routine analytical requests and ad-hoc data needs
- Work with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Record methods, assumptions, and source information used in analysis
- Assist with performance tracking and operational reporting
- Adhere to data quality and governance practices
Requirements
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Careful approach with a strong focus on data accuracy
- Comfort working with organized, structured datasets
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and basic analysis tools
- Fundamental understanding of data analysis concepts and metrics
- Ability to present findings in clear reports and summaries

- Educational background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a similar field is preferred
