Warehouse Associate

Overview

House of Forgings and its subsidiaries are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-moving team focused on order fulfillment, packaging, stocking, loading, unloading, and keeping the warehouse safe and well organized. The role calls for someone who is dependable, punctual, reliable, and actively engaged in daily work. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept incoming products, confirm quantities and details, and place items into storage.
• Pick items from inventory based on orders, check for accuracy, and prepare them for shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading products when needed.
• Keep inventory records current and provide accurate counts when requested.
• Carry out warehouse processes and directions provided by the Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.
• Support a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety rules and operational procedures.
• Deliver helpful service to internal teams, external customers, logistics partners, vendors, vendor partners, and employees.
• Share concerns and issues proactively with management.
• Take on additional duties assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to use material-handling tools such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts when required.
• Good reading and communication ability.
• Prior experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment and warehouse conditions that are not climate controlled, including heat and humidity.
• Noise levels can be high at times.
• Role requires steady physical activity, coordination, manual dexterity, stamina, and the ability to support the body over time without fatigue.
