About the company
Tristeps Studios is a Singapore-based production house that creates brand films, commercials, and social content for established F&B and lifestyle brands. The team is compact, senior, and focused on a high standard of craft with quick delivery cycles.
Role overview
This position is the studio’s primary in-house editing role. You will manage the day-to-day flow of social content while also editing offline commercial cuts, working closely with the Creative Director.
Key responsibilities
- Produce around 15 to 20 social videos each month for two F&B retainer accounts, covering Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, including hooks, pacing, sound design, captions, and multiple versions.
- Shape offline commercial edits by assembling selects and refining story, structure, and rhythm.
- Create a first-pass colour grade and light motion graphics, while specialist partners complete final online finishing.
- Handle light posting and content distribution according to the studio SOP for roughly one day per week, including scheduling, uploads, and delivery.
- Once briefed, work independently on social output and maintain an organised pipeline, including media management, project files, and platform-specific specs.
- Keep documentation and edit structure clear so projects can be handed over smoothly or expanded to other editors in the future.
- Contribute to ideation sessions with an editor’s perspective and offer useful input on social creative development.
What you should bring
You should have 3 to 4+ years of experience in social and branded content, with a portfolio that includes both short-form and long-form work. Strong command of Premiere Pro and After Effects is expected, along with comfort using DaVinci Resolve for colour work. You should have a solid sense of what makes short-form content effective, including strong opening hooks. The role requires speed, consistency, and the ability to manage a demanding monthly workload without sacrificing quality. You also need to be organised enough to follow a posting SOP with minimal supervision and have a good eye for F&B and lifestyle content.
Nice to have
Additional advantages include experience with CapCut and native short-form workflows, familiarity with AI tools such as Higgsfield, deeper After Effects skills, and shooting ability.
