The Opportunity

An opening is available for dependable and enthusiastic cleaners to join the team at a school site in Pearlah, South Australia. The role suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and welcoming spaces.

This is a part-time onsite position with the following roster:

• Monday and Thursday: 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Pay will be provided according to the relevant award rates.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
• Attend to spot cleaning on furniture and fittings
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean toilets and related areas
• Collect and dispose of rubbish
• Clean glass surfaces, both inside and outside
• Dust hard surfaces throughout the site

About You

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and able to work with care and consistency. You should be comfortable following instructions, working independently, and contributing effectively as part of a team. Strong customer service skills, a solid work ethic, and a good eye for detail are also important.

Experience in cleaning is preferred, with school cleaning considered an advantage. Familiarity with WHS practices is beneficial, and experience operating floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be viewed positively.

A Working With Children Check is required for onsite work. Applicants must also have valid work rights in Australia.
