Data Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, and sustaining robust ETL pipelines to support seamless data integration and transformation, with flexible weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40 and fully remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable ETL workflows ensuring efficient data processing.
• Work collaboratively with different teams to understand data requirements and craft customized data solutions.
• Enhance and fine-tune existing data processes to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee and troubleshoot production data pipelines to maintain high data quality and integrity.
• Produce clean, well-structured Python code that complies with best practices and industry standards.
• Promote data accuracy through proactive validation techniques throughout data workflows.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated expert knowledge in Python programming.
• Extensive practical experience in building and managing ETL pipelines and data processing systems.
• Ability to efficiently work independently within a fully remote work setup.

Compensation and Commitment

The role offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $30 up to $90. Candidates can expect a workload between 10 to 40 hours per week.
