Construction Procurement Analyst

Role overview

This position supports construction procurement for a major national retail brand, helping drive new store launches, remodel programs, and capital projects across North America. The role is based in the New York City area with a hybrid work setup, and candidates need to be within commuting distance of New York City.

What the role involves

• Oversee purchase orders and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
• Track and coordinate deliveries of materials to active project locations.
• Assist with scheduling and budget coordination for construction initiatives.
• Partner closely with project managers, general contractors, and vendors.
• Contribute to keeping projects progressing smoothly from early planning through final completion.

What the employer is looking for

Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or construction-related work. Strong Excel ability and solid analytical thinking are important for success in this position. Experience with SAP Ariba, Power BI, retail construction, or capital projects would be considered an advantage.
