Role Overview
Raven Labs is looking for an entry-level / junior Data Analyst to help turn raw data into practical business insights. This role focuses on gathering, cleaning, reviewing, and interpreting information from different sources to support day-to-day and strategic decisions. You will help build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that make business performance, customer trends, operational patterns, and KPIs easy to understand.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business and operational decisions.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for stakeholders.
- Check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
- Examine large datasets to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and areas that need improvement.
- Present findings in a clear way through reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with cross-functional teams on forecasting, performance tracking, process improvement, and strategic projects.
- Help preserve data integrity and support organization-wide data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfort using spreadsheets, data analysis tools, reporting systems, and visualization software.
- Basic familiarity with SQL, database concepts, statistical methods, and data management is a plus.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data in a simple, actionable way.
- Solid organization and time-management skills, including the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once.
- Helpful knowledge of business intelligence, reporting frameworks, data governance, forecasting, KPI tracking, and process improvement.
- Any exposure to dashboard building, BI tools, report automation, or business analysis is an added advantage.

This position is based onsite in Chicago, IL and is offered as a part-time role.
