Role Overview
Reliance Industries is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Navi Mumbai to support the buildout of scalable AI infrastructure and reliable deployment workflows. This role focuses on moving AI models from experimentation to production smoothly, while applying modern LLMOps practices such as prompt version tracking, vector database administration, and AI system monitoring.
What You Will Do
- Develop and support CI/CD workflows for backend systems and AI agents using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Create automated checks that run performance benchmarks before code is merged.
- Deploy and manage LLMs, either through APIs or by hosting open-source models internally.
- Administer vector databases used in RAG architectures and improve indexing efficiency.
- Set up versioning for prompts and model settings.
- Automate cloud and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or comparable tools.
- Operate Docker and Kubernetes for scalable microservices delivery.
- Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Use AI monitoring platforms such as LangSmith and Arize Phoenix to track model behavior.
- Monitor API consumption and token costs, and introduce caching approaches where needed.
- Maintain secure handling of API keys and enforce network-level protections for AI environments.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Exposure to AI observability tools such as LangSmith and Arize Phoenix.
- Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash.
- Understanding of ETL workflows and streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Comfort with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Additional Information
Compensation is listed in the range of INR 700000 to INR 1500000 per year.
