The partner is seeking an Australia-based Talent Manager to build and oversee a strong pipeline of creative professionals who can support performance marketing and content production at scale.
The position centers on finding, assessing, and bringing onboard high-caliber creators, designers, editors, and strategists who help drive impactful ad campaigns and brand expansion. The work environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and guided by data, with a strong focus on creative quality and measurable results.
You will partner closely with creative leaders to forecast hiring needs and make sure the right people are matched to the right projects at the right time. The role blends recruiting capability with creative judgment, so it suits someone who can spot talent quickly, communicate clearly, and enjoy working across creativity, marketing, and talent strategy.
Key accountabilities
- Find, evaluate, and create shortlists of strong creative professionals such as editors, designers, strategists, and UGC creators.
- Run screening and briefing conversations to assess capability, communication style, and team fit.
- Develop and keep updated a well-organized talent pipeline that supports both immediate and future campaign needs.
- Work alongside creative leadership to set hiring priorities and close capability gaps.
- Own the full talent acquisition cycle, including outreach, assessment, selection, and onboarding.
- Maintain structured talent records and trackers in spreadsheets and sourcing systems.
- Review creative submissions to confirm they align with brand expectations and campaign standards.
- Track trends in the creative industry and keep pace with changing talent benchmarks.
- Provide candidates with a polished and efficient experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Use sourcing and freelance platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Casting Networks, Billo, and similar tools to discover suitable talent.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in talent management, creative recruitment, influencer partnerships, or a similar function.
- Demonstrated success in hiring creative talent in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Confident communication skills, including the ability to conduct interviews and evaluation calls.
- Strong planning and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle several pipelines at once.
- Experience working with creative, marketing, or performance-focused teams.
- Ability to judge both technical creative ability and softer factors such as communication and cultural alignment.
- Comfort reviewing portfolios, reels, and case studies.
- Hands-on experience with freelance and talent platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Casting Networks, and comparable tools.
- Good understanding of creative production settings, ideally in an agency or DTC environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contractor-style arrangement aligned with EST hours.
Compensation and benefits
The monthly pay range is USD 1,200 to USD 1,800, depending on experience.
