Export Logistics Coordinator

Your opportunity

You will support the Export Logistics Manager in coordinating Vitaco’s stock movements to Australia, overseas shipments, and contract customer orders. The role focuses on making sure orders are handled and sent out efficiently, all parties stay informed, and export paperwork is accurate and compliant.

This is a busy, collaboration-heavy position that involves regular contact with customers, freight partners, and internal teams to help deliver a smooth export process and keep goods moving through international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare export documents with accuracy and within required timeframes.
• Manage import and export permits, declarations, and export certificates.
• Coordinate with freight forwarding partners to support timely and efficient shipping.
• Track production plans and the release of finished goods to help maintain export schedules.
• Keep customers, Market Managers, and other stakeholders informed about shipment status, permits, and any operational issues.
• Assist International Market Managers and ensure customer and shipment records are kept up to date.

Skills and experience

• Ability to complete export documentation carefully and on schedule.
• Understanding of import/export permits, declarations, and certification processes.
• Confidence working with freight forwarders to support on-time dispatches.
• Awareness of production timing and finished goods release processes.
• Strong stakeholder communication and progress-updating skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
• Practical, proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to plan ahead and manage priorities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Previous customer service experience in a New Zealand export, logistics, or shipping setting is helpful.
• Exposure to FMCG operations and/or Navision or similar ERP/MRP systems would be an advantage.
