Job overview

We are seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design, build, and support scalable server-side applications. The role requires solid hands-on knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and multithreading. Exposure to Kafka and AWS is considered an advantage.

The selected professional will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure, dependable, and high-performance enterprise software.

Key responsibilities

• Create, enhance, test, and maintain backend systems using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and support scalable architectures based on microservices.
• Apply multithreading and concurrency concepts to improve system performance.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services for enterprise use cases.
• Work with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to release quality solutions.
• Take part in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Improve application speed, scalability, and stability.
• Integrate Kafka or similar messaging tools for event-driven workflows.
• Use AWS for deployment and infrastructure-related tasks.
• Investigate production problems and resolve them promptly.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and adhere to coding standards.

Must-have skills

• Strong command of Core Java
• Practical experience with Spring Boot
• Working knowledge of microservices design
• Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency
• Experience building REST APIs
• Strong debugging and issue-resolution ability
• Comfort with Git and CI/CD workflows

Good-to-have skills

• Hands-on exposure to Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of distributed systems

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization. The role is intended for candidates with strong backend development experience and the ability to communicate well and work collaboratively.

Experience

Experience range: 4.8 to 10 years in backend development.

Preferred profile

Ideal candidates should be comfortable in a fast-moving Agile environment, work independently, pay attention to detail, and have a strong interest in clean code and scalable system design. Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability are important.
