Overview
Handshake is looking for experienced 2D design professionals to support an AI research initiative. The work involves using technical design tools and domain knowledge to help train and improve how AI interprets real-world professional tasks in this field. Opportunities in the program are offered throughout the year and may appear intermittently across different specialties.
Role details
- This is a remote, asynchronous role, so you can complete work independently from any location.
- Work hours are flexible, and there is no minimum hourly commitment.
- Assignments may include creating domain-focused prompts and reviewing LLM outputs.
- You may gain new skills while contributing to AI projects across a range of disciplines.
- Placement depends on whether a matching project is currently available.
Qualifications
- You should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience using one or more 2D graphics tools.
- Relevant tools include GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, LibreSprite, and similar software.
- You must be able to collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams.
Work authorization
Students on F-1 status who qualify for CPT or OPT may be considered for projects on Handshake AI. You should confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official. If your institution requires a CPT course, this opportunity may not satisfy that requirement. STEM OPT is not supported.
