Role Overview
Aramark is seeking a Custodial Services Worker in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities so guests, clients, and coworkers can enjoy a healthy environment. Key Responsibilities
- Follow established safety procedures and comply with OSHA, local, state, federal, and company standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to support a safe and healthy setting.
- Use, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment properly.
- Clean assigned spaces according to Aramark and client expectations.
- Collect, store, and dispose of trash according to procedures, then move it to the correct disposal area.
- Escalate maintenance issues by submitting work order requests to the right team.
- Lock and unlock the facility as needed and help maintain site security.
- Protect company property and assets.
- Take on additional tasks or adjusted duties when needed, as responsibilities may change without advance notice.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in custodial or housekeeping work is an advantage.
- Ability to follow basic safety practices while working around physical hazards and cleaning chemicals.
- Friendly, professional, and efficient approach when dealing with guests, clients, and coworkers.
- Flexibility to respond to guest needs and changing work priorities.
- Comfort with physically active work, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform and use personal protective equipment when required.
