Role Overview

A leading multi-site manufacturing and retail organization in Jamaica is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activity across several facilities. This role suits a practical leader who can strengthen team performance, improve equipment dependability, cut downtime, and support smoother day-to-day operations in a fast-moving setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and support maintenance teams working across multiple sites.
• Set up and manage preventive as well as predictive maintenance plans.
• Raise equipment availability, reliability, and overall operational output.
• Handle maintenance-related projects, equipment upgrades, and capital improvement work.
• Oversee budgets, spare parts inventory, and third-party contractor coordination.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

Candidate Profile

The employer is seeking someone with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, along with at least 5 years of experience leading maintenance functions. The right candidate should have a solid understanding of industrial machinery and equipment, a track record of lowering downtime, and experience managing teams with clear accountability. Strong planning, troubleshooting, and leadership abilities are essential.

Preferred Industry Background
