Python Lead

Role overview

This position sits within the Infosys delivery team and focuses on building and supporting technology solutions for clients. The role is centered on design, development, validation, and support work to help ensure strong service quality across technology projects.

What you'll do

• Study client needs in detail and convert business requirements into clear system requirements.
• Contribute to the estimation of effort and help provide inputs for project sizing to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Develop efficient programs and systems that support client digital transformation initiatives.
• Take part in design, development, testing, validation, and support activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Work with different technologies where needed and apply technical judgment to project tasks.

What we're looking for

• Working knowledge of Python in an open systems environment.
• Awareness of architecture and design fundamentals.
• Understanding of testing tools and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working.
• Knowledge of development and maintenance project life-cycle activities.
• Understanding of estimation approaches and quality processes.
• Basic business-domain awareness to interpret requirements correctly.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical depth, communication ability, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good grasp of technology concepts and the related business domain.
• Ability to apply software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and modeling methods.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical capabilities.
