Role Overview

This is an hourly contract opportunity for a Web Developer working remotely from the United Kingdom. The assignment offers pay in the range of $20 to $70 per hour and is suited to someone available for 10 to 40 hours each week.

What You’ll Do

Create and support responsive web applications that are easy to use and maintain.
Connect frontend interfaces with backend services and handle API-based data flow.
Work closely with designers to shape smooth and consistent user experiences.
Investigate issues, fix bugs, and improve application speed, reliability, and scalability.
Produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with development standards.
Take part in planning discussions and help evaluate technical approaches and solutions.
Keep communication open and effective with teammates and other stakeholders.

What’s Needed

Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience working with backend APIs and consuming data from them.
Good understanding of responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
Comfort working autonomously in a remote setting.
Experience using collaboration tools and working with distributed teams.
Sharp problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail.
