Interior Designer

Overview

Torati Cabinet Inc is hiring an Interior Designer to work from its Port Coquitlam, British Columbia location. This position is based at the physical workplace and does not offer a remote-work option.

Language

English proficiency is required for this role.

Education

A bachelor's degree is required.

Experience

Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Calculate project costs and prepare estimates.
• Develop precise technical specifications for design work.
• Design interior environments that suit client preferences, needs, and style.
• Interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and related plans.
• Recommend colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and similar elements while considering ergonomic and occupational health standards.
• Work with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, safety needs, and the intended use of the space.
• Produce detailed layouts and 3D models showing walls, partitions, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
• Create plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings.
