Job description
Role Overview
Grill’d is entering a major growth phase in 2026, with new restaurant openings, expansion into additional locations across Australia, and further rollout of its Drive Thru format. The menu is also being refreshed, and leadership development remains a key priority. This role is suited to an energetic manager who enjoys working in a people-focused environment and wants to grow with a business that is scaling quickly.
With more than 21 years in operation and over 175 restaurants, Grill’d offers a fast-moving environment where ambitious leaders can take on greater responsibility and help shape the next stage of the brand’s growth in fast casual dining.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Restaurant Manager in guiding, motivating, and encouraging the team.
- Be actively involved in day-to-day service, from kitchen operations to front-of-house delivery.
- Help maintain a consistently high standard of customer experience and food quality.
- Work toward performance goals, contribute to team development, and recognise achievements.
- Coach team members across different stations and help build their capability.
- Oversee safety, quality, and operational standards during shifts.
Why This Role Stands Out
This opportunity comes with a structured 8-week onboarding program that combines leadership workshops with practical training. Career pathways may include progression to Restaurant Manager, Area Manager, Support Office roles, or even ownership opportunities through the Grill’d Partner or Joint Venture Program.
The role also includes uncapped monthly bonuses linked to sales performance, flexible working arrangements, and a culture built around authenticity, community impact, and team connection. Additional benefits include free burgers, wellbeing support through an employee assistance program, and a Fun Fund for team activities. Recognition and celebration are part of the culture, with rewards such as Hall of Flame trips and the G.O.A.T leadership conference.
Additional Information
Grill’d supports community initiatives through programs such as City Support Nights and Local Matters. The company values diversity across culture, sexual orientation, and gender identity, and aims to create an inclusive workplace that welcomes individual contributions.
Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be able to pass a National Police Check. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a phone interview.
