Job description

Role overview

This position sits within the finance planning and analysis function and supports essential FP&A workflows such as month-end close, forecasting, and the annual operating plan. The role works across Finance, business teams, and IT to keep data flows accurate, submissions on time, and planning systems running effectively. A major part of the job is improving processes through automation, digital tools, and smarter workflows, with TM1 or HFM, SmartView, and Alteryx used as key planning and analytics platforms.

What you will do

  • Help run core planning cycles such as month-end closing, forecast updates, and the annual operating plan by collecting, validating, and processing data for timely submission to GBS and the sector team, while continuously looking for ways to automate and simplify the process.
  • Collaborate with Finance and non-Finance partners, including Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and Control teams, to keep solutions working reliably across PBNA.
  • Partner with IT teams and consulting vendors during system testing and contribute to the rollout of improvements as the solution is developed.
  • Raise issues to the IT and business design teams as soon as they appear, align on corrective actions, and help drive them to closure quickly.
  • Verify that planning cube connections are properly established, including links such as sales demand to COGS volume, and ensure master data mappings are correctly maintained.

Requirements

  • Practical FP&A experience with direct exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Hands-on knowledge of TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) or HFM, along with SmartView and Alteryx.
  • Good understanding of financial systems, cubes, and data models.
  • Ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, issue-solving ability, and communication skills.
  • Experience with process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Educational background in B.Tech, MBA, or a related field in Finance, Operations, or a similar discipline.

Additional information

This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement in finance planning operations. A successful candidate will be comfortable working across systems and teams while supporting system enhancements and process standardization.
