Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Doha is responsible for running day-to-day branch activities, supporting customers, and ensuring smooth travel service delivery. The Branch Supervisor oversees booking coordination, ticket and voucher issuance, and travel documentation accuracy, while also leading the branch team and keeping performance aligned with service expectations.
The role also covers cash management, sales tracking, and reconciliation, along with adherence to company procedures, contractual obligations, and travel rules. In addition, the position supports growth by strengthening client, supplier, and partner relationships, resolving escalations, and spotting opportunities to improve both efficiency and revenue.
Key Duties
Manage daily branch operations and ensure services run efficiently.
Respond to customer questions and handle booking-related requests.
Oversee the preparation and issue of tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents.
Supervise branch employees, assign schedules, and provide coaching and follow-up.
Monitor team performance and maintain consistent service quality.
Handle cash operations, prepare sales summaries, and complete reconciliation tasks.
Ensure branch activity follows company policies, contracts, and applicable travel regulations.
Maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
Address escalations professionally and work toward practical resolutions.
Identify process improvements and business opportunities that can strengthen branch productivity and income.
Requirements
Candidates should bring prior experience in branch supervision or retail supervision, ideally in travel, tourism, or hospitality.
They need strong client-service skills and the ability to deal with complex requests and complaints in a calm, professional way.
Hands-on knowledge of travel reservation processes and systems such as GDS or similar platforms is required, along with a strong understanding of ticketing, bookings, and documentation.
The role calls for people-management capability, including team coordination, coaching, performance tracking, and schedule planning.
Applicants must be highly organized, able to manage time well, multitask effectively, and keep financial and operational reporting accurate.
Good spoken and written English is essential; Arabic or other language abilities are an added advantage.
Basic proficiency with office applications and digital tools for reporting, records, and correspondence is expected.
Experience in a customer-facing role in Qatar or the wider GCC region is preferred.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related discipline is desirable.
The person hired must be able to work on-site in Doha and remain flexible during busy travel periods, including weekends or public holidays when required.
