Job overview
As a Cart Attendant, you help create a positive first and last impression for shoppers. The role focuses on collecting carts from the parking area, using equipment to transport them back into the store, and keeping shopping carts clean and sanitary. A cheerful attitude is important, including while working outdoors in changing weather.

Pay
The hourly wage for this role is $14 to $27. Pay will meet or exceed the minimum wage required for the job location. In addition to base pay, annual or quarterly performance incentives may be available. Premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may also apply depending on factors such as schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed; more than one premium may be available if the qualifying conditions are met.
Work schedule
This position is available as full-time or part-time. Shifts may include opening, morning, mid-shift, and closing.
Responsibilities
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot.
- Use equipment to move carts from outside into the store.
- Keep carts clean and sanitary.
- Help maintain a welcoming experience for customers at the start and end of their visit.
