Role overview

Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology company across commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to deliver education and support to healthcare professionals and office staff in primary care and specialty settings for a designated disease area. The role focuses on sharing disease-state education using approved materials, while staying aligned with program standards, compliance requirements, and leadership and client expectations.

What you will do

  • Provide detailed clinical education on the disease state and related management pathways to healthcare providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders through educational discussions using approved resources.
  • Work strictly within compliance, legal, and regulatory expectations in all materials, conversations, and field activities.
  • Coordinate closely with field colleagues and operate within the client-defined boundaries for the program.
  • Complete all Inizio and client training modules and competency checks within the required timelines.
  • Keep accurate daily records of office visits, interactions, and any required reporting.
  • Track working time and expenses through the designated Inizio systems.
  • Maintain any professional registration or license required by Inizio and applicable state law.
  • Attend local or national meetings and conferences when requested to stay current on program updates and share best practices.
  • Care for client and company equipment and materials according to instructions.
  • Follow company policy, the code of conduct, and all external industry regulations.
  • Be reachable during working hours to respond to inquiries and carry out assigned duties.
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license at all times and immediately report any violations or penalty points.
  • Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight travel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Note that Clinical Educators do not provide nursing services, medical advice, treatment advice, or promote pharmaceutical products.

What you need to bring

  • You must be a qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; respiratory therapist or registered nurse background is preferred.
  • An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or closely related area; respiratory experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a clinical educator or in sales within pharma or biotech is preferred.
  • Strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Confidence presenting to physicians and a range of office staff.
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills, plus the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple responsibilities and territory priorities at once.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with high motivation.
  • Ongoing professional development and a commitment to keeping clinical knowledge current.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, and residence within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.
