What the job involves

The role centers on route-based collection and delivery work, handling customer interactions, and preparing or packing items as needed. You will be expected to complete pick-ups and deliveries efficiently, respond to service-related customer queries, and work in line with operational, safety, and security standards. Success in this role is measured by meeting service targets and keeping customer satisfaction high.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out on-road pick-up and delivery duties.
  • Assist customers and resolve issues connected to service features.
  • Follow all operational, safety, and security procedures at all times.
  • Support packing-related tasks when required.
  • Work toward service commitments and a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Completed secondary schooling or an equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience.
  • Strong customer focus with clear communication, active listening, and spoken English fluency.
  • Good knowledge of local geography, plus route planning and organizing ability.
  • Careful attention to detail, especially when completing documents accurately.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the role.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a mindset of finding better ways of working.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate across teams for timely delivery.
