Role overview
Advance Auto Parts is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver in London, Ontario. This onsite role combines timely parts delivery, customer support, store operations, and light sales assistance in a fast-paced automotive retail setting.
What you’ll do
- Prepare, stage, and safely transport auto parts to professional customers.
- Collect returns and cores from customer locations.
- Distribute weekly and monthly promotional flyers while highlighting current sales and loyalty offers.
- Handle daily collection activities for credit accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and share useful delivery-based insights with the CPP.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts to help raise average order value.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including floors, restrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
- Assist with stock tasks such as truck unloading, back stock organization, and cycle counts.
- Stay current on inventory and new products so you can support sales conversations.
- Interact with walk-in customers, learn what they need, and suggest the right parts or services.
- Take on other assigned duties as needed.

Experience and education
Previous automotive parts experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are mandatory.
Physical requirements
This role involves regular walking and standing. It also requires the ability to talk, hear, handle items with hands and fingers, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance. The job also requires close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment
The work is mainly indoors, but there may be occasional outdoor tasks in different weather conditions, such as installing batteries and wiper blades. You may also encounter moving mechanical parts, high or exposed places, toxic or caustic substances, electrical shock risk, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are generally moderate.
Compensation
The expected pay range for a new hire is CAD 17.60 to CAD 18.85 per hour. The final offer will depend on factors such as location, retail experience, automotive knowledge, education, leadership background, other relevant skills, and any applicable shift differential.
