Role Overview

The Executive Housekeeper will take charge of the full housekeeping function at Shangri-La Jeddah. This includes planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring all housekeeping operations to maintain superior standards of cleanliness, presentation, and order across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The position is central to ensuring a consistently polished environment that matches the hotel’s luxury positioning and supports exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Duties

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day housekeeping performance, guide the team, and ensure operational standards are met consistently across all areas.

• Manage daily housekeeping activity to keep operations running efficiently.
• Coach, supervise, and encourage the housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, and laundry colleagues.
• Support strong workflow and team performance across all housekeeping tasks.
• Check guest rooms and ensure supplies are replenished as needed.
• Maintain quality assurance standards at all times.
• Ensure all services follow hotel policies and operational guidelines.
• Uphold hotel hygiene, grooming, and personal presentation standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and a respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings proven luxury hotel housekeeping experience, preferably in GCC markets, along with a strong service mindset and the confidence to lead by example. Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, clear communication skills in English, strong people management abilities, and a genuine drive to develop both personally and professionally. You should be comfortable handling new challenges, enjoy guest interaction, and be recognized as a helpful, dependable, and approachable leader.
