Role summary
The studio is hiring an Interior Designer for its Salt Lake City office. This is an in-office position and the selected candidate must be available to begin no later than July 1, 2026. The role supports high-end residential projects from early concept development through final installation, working closely with interior and architectural teams to deliver cohesive, polished results.
The ideal professional is detail-oriented, aligned with a design approach that values proportion, materiality, and quality craftsmanship. Strong communication, the ability to juggle several projects carefully, and comfort working in a highly collaborative studio setting are important for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Help shape design work across every project stage, from early concepts through construction
- Build interior concepts, spatial plans, and supporting design stories
- Create drawings, diagrams, presentation boards, 3D studies, and other visual materials
- Assist with the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, and FF&E with strong design judgment
- Prepare documentation and drawings in Revit
- Work with architects, consultants, and vendors to carry design intent through execution
- Join client meetings, design critiques, and site visits
- Support procurement, coordination, and installation activities when required
- Keep projects, records, and material libraries orderly and up to date
- Work with specification sets, schedules, and related design documentation
- Stay current on design directions and the luxury market, including high-end brands, materials, and sourcing options
Requirements
- At least 2 years of interior design experience, ideally in residential work
- At least 2 years of recent, steady Revit experience
- A bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a similar field
- A portfolio that shows clear concept development, strong material understanding, and disciplined design thinking
- Strong ability to communicate visually, stay organized, and collaborate effectively
- Comfort working in a fast-moving studio with a high level of detail
