Role overview
A fast-growing renewable energy company is looking for a Junior Procurement Analyst to join its operations function in Cork. This position is a strong fit for someone who wants to build a career in a collaborative, international setting while getting practical experience across procurement and finance activities.
You will work alongside procurement, finance, project teams, and suppliers, helping with day-to-day purchasing activity and purchase-to-pay processes. The role also offers exposure to supplier coordination, reporting, systems work, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support routine procurement operations across several jurisdictions.
- Help manage purchase orders and supplier onboarding activities.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable so invoices are handled accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist in resolving supplier questions and invoice mismatches.
- Keep procurement files, supplier records, and reporting information up to date.
- Contribute to procurement systems usage, workflow updates, and process efficiency improvements.
- Partner with project and finance teams to support company purchasing needs.
Candidate profile
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, finance, administration, or a similar environment.
- Working knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes or invoice handling.
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel and common business systems.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams.
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable in a busy, fast-moving environment.
