About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator will help drive audience growth and engagement across the company’s hospitality event portfolio. This position focuses on planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns that attract industry professionals, support registration growth, and improve the attendee journey. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen marketing performance and event outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Help grow audience reach and event registrations through email, social media, partnerships, and other digital channels
- Plan, run, and improve marketing campaigns in coordination with marketing and cross-functional teams
- Write campaign messaging for emails, social platforms, and website pages aimed at hospitality audiences
- Keep event websites current with accurate, engaging, and conversion-oriented content
- Manage assigned brands’ social media presence by producing content that encourages engagement
- Design simple campaign assets using tools such as Canva
- Monitor campaign results, analyze performance, and share reports to improve targeting
- Support audience segmentation and attendee persona development
- Assist with onsite marketing activities such as signage, activations, and sponsor integrations
- Use speaker, sponsor, and partner materials to extend campaign reach across channels
- Stay informed about hospitality trends, marketing best practices, and new tools, including AI-based solutions
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail, with a well-organized, proactive, accountable approach and solid project coordination skills
- Comfort learning new technologies quickly and working in a fast-moving, high-growth setting with multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Goal-oriented approach with a willingness to go beyond expectations
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, management, or a related discipline is preferred, though not mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, event support, or client/customer-facing work
- Background in an agency, events, or media environment is an advantage
- Exposure to Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or InDesign
- Experience with Omeda or comparable email marketing tools such as MailChimp, Eloqua, or ActiveCampaign
- Hands-on use of generative AI and AI-enabled marketing tools for brainstorming, drafting, optimizing, and personalizing campaigns
- Ability to write effective prompts and use data-led marketing practices such as A/B testing, segmentation, and reporting while following responsible AI practices
