Mixer Operator

About the Role

Neproplast is hiring an experienced Mixer Operator to support its plastic pipes manufacturing operations in Jeddah. The role focuses on accurately preparing and blending raw materials for pipe production while meeting production targets, quality standards, safety rules, and efficiency expectations.

What You Will Do

• Run and oversee mixing machinery used in plastic pipe production.
• Prepare raw material batches based on approved recipes, production schedules, and work instructions.
• Measure, dose, and blend polymers, additives, masterbatch, stabilizers, and related inputs with accuracy.
• Check mixed batches against required quality standards before they are handed over to production.
• Watch mixing settings closely and make adjustments to maintain stable and consistent product quality.
• Work with Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Spot material, process, or equipment issues and report them promptly.
• Act quickly to correct process deviations or quality concerns when they arise.
• Keep detailed records of batch preparation, material usage, and production activity.
• Maintain clear storage, labeling, and traceability for raw materials and prepared batches.
• Ensure the mixing area remains clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Follow company safety procedures and environmental guidelines at all times.
• Support the training and supervision of junior operators and production laborers.
• Suggest process improvements that can raise output, quality, and material efficiency.
• Assist during emergencies and shutdowns when needed.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Technical Diploma.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in plastic pipes manufacturing, plastic compounding, polymer processing, extrusion, or a similar plastics environment.
• Hands-on experience with HDPE, PPR, PVC, or other thermoplastic raw materials.
• Good understanding of raw material preparation, blending, and mixing operations.
• Ability to interpret production specifications and batch formulas.
• Basic knowledge of quality expectations in plastics manufacturing.
• Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and disciplined operations.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.

Preferred Experience

Experience in HDPE, PPR, or PVC pipe manufacturing facilities is an advantage. Exposure to masterbatch and additive dosing systems, automated mixing systems, and material conveying equipment will be useful. Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods is also preferred. First Aid, Fire Fighting, and Emergency Response training would be an added advantage.
