Job description
Role Overview
This position supports warehouse operations by handling freight inside the facility. The work focuses on loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting packages while helping keep shipments moving efficiently through the operation.
Key Duties
- Load and unload freight.
- Scan freight and sort it within the facility.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs rules is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important.
- Ability to complete all required initial and refresher training successfully.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages weighing as much as 150 lbs using the proper equipment.
Other Requirements and Working Conditions
- Grade level: 79.
- Pay rate: $21.

- Driver candidates may also be evaluated through their driver’s abstract, interview performance, and any driver competency assessments.
