Job description
About the Company
AMMD LLC is a physician-led functional medicine and women’s health business founded on the work of Dr. Amy Myers, a two-time New York Times bestselling author. The organization runs two connected brands under one roof: AMMD, which focuses on direct-to-consumer supplements, subscriptions, eCommerce, and customer experience; and Dr. Amy Myers (DAM), the founder-led authority platform built around books, the Take Back Your Health podcast, content, media, and audience growth. All roles contribute to both brands, with cross-functional work spanning product and media initiatives. The team is lean, fast-moving, and centered on clinically credible consumer health solutions aimed at helping people address the root causes of chronic illness.
Role Overview
The company is looking for a Project Manager to serve as the operational hub for a dynamic and high-growth environment. This person will own the systems, schedules, and follow-through that convert plans into completed work across product launches, marketing programs, content, and compliance efforts for both AMMD and the Dr. Amy Myers brand.
This position is best suited to someone with strong internal drive and unusually high attention to detail. The ideal candidate is uncomfortable with loose ends, consistently checks briefs line by line, tracks dependencies carefully, and resolves issues before they escalate. The expectation is not only to keep work on track, but to elevate how the entire team executes.
Reporting Structure and Team Interface
The role reports to the CEO and COO, and works closely with Marketing, eCommerce, Content, Product Development, and outside partners such as formulators, manufacturers, legal/compliance teams, and agencies. The position supports both sub-brands and coordinates contributors across departments without direct reports at first, with the opportunity to help build and lead a project or operations function as the company grows.
Core Responsibilities
The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery, from scoping and planning through sequencing and execution, across product, marketing, content, and operations workstreams. They will maintain project plans, timelines, and tracking systems in Asana or a comparable tool, ensuring the information is current, accurate, and trusted by the broader team.
The role also requires persistent follow-through: identifying open items, clarifying owners, closing dependencies, and preventing missed handoffs. It includes coordinating work across internal teams and external partners so everyone stays aligned on deliverables, responsibilities, and blockers.
For product launches, the Project Manager will manage the operational path for new SKUs, including spec sheets, quotes, naming and trademark clearance, packaging, compliance review, and launch readiness. For marketing and content, they will manage production calendars and execution flows for campaigns, podcast-related work, lifecycle marketing, and related assets to make sure everything ships on time and on brief.
Quality control is another key part of the job. The selected candidate will review deliverables before release to catch errors, missing disclaimers, broken links, off-brand language, and other issues that could affect a physician-led brand. The role also includes running meeting cadences, producing status updates, maintaining reporting rhythms, documenting decisions, and keeping leadership informed with clear action items.
Over time, the Project Manager is expected to improve how the team works by identifying friction points, documenting better processes, building templates, and creating repeatable systems. They should also flag risks, delays, and bottlenecks early, along with practical solutions rather than just problems.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
By around day 30, the person in this role should understand every active project, know who owns each piece, identify gaps, and establish a single reliable source of truth by auditing the existing trackers.
By day 60, they should be running the operating rhythm through status meetings, reporting, and follow-through so the team experiences smoother execution and clearer accountability.
By day 90, they should be independently driving major launch and campaign timelines, have delivered at least one process improvement, and earned leadership confidence that nothing important is being missed.
Candidate Profile
The right applicant brings strong urgency, takes initiative without waiting to be prompted, and owns outcomes rather than only tasks. They are highly detail-oriented, known for spotting what others overlook, and committed to accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
They should have at least 3 years of experience in project management or program coordination, ideally in DTC, eCommerce, CPG, or another fast-paced startup setting. They need to be fluent with project management tools such as Asana, Monday, or similar platforms, and comfortable creating trackers, dashboards, and documentation. Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong communication is essential: the candidate should write concise updates, ask precise questions, and proactively share information before it is requested. They should also be able to manage many moving parts at once, prioritize effectively, and remain calm, organized, and accountable under pressure.
A true ownership mindset is important, along with the ability to treat company deadlines, budgets, and reputation as personally important. Interest in functional medicine, supplements, or women’s health is a bonus, especially if paired with respect for the compliance expectations of a physician-led brand.
How to Apply
Applicants are asked to send a resume and a brief note explaining why the role is a strong fit, along with an example of a project they successfully carried through to completion that likely would have stalled without them. Applications should be emailed to [email protected].
Equal Opportunity Statement

All qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
