A leading organization in Saudi Arabia is looking for an accomplished Project Manager who can drive complex construction work to successful completion. This opportunity is centered on large-scale projects, with a particular need for deep experience in healthcare-related facilities.
About the Role
This position is responsible for steering projects from the earliest planning stages through final delivery, with consistent attention to scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Direct every stage of healthcare construction work, including planning, design, execution, commissioning, and final handover.
- Prepare execution strategies, project timelines, financial plans, and resource deployment approaches.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep delivery on track.
- Track progress, spot possible risks early, and apply corrective actions to protect project goals.
- Assess and sign off on project outputs, technical documents, and status updates.
- Maintain compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, local laws, and applicable industry rules.
- Oversee budgets, control costs, and handle change requests throughout the project.
- Run project meetings and communicate regular progress updates to leadership and clients.
- Supervise quality assurance and quality control activities across the full project lifecycle.
- Ensure all work follows health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Guide and support project team members while encouraging teamwork and strong performance.
- Address technical, contractual, and operational challenges to keep delivery moving forward.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or another related engineering field.
- Fifteen to eighteen years of professional experience in construction project management.
- Prior work on healthcare projects is essential.
- Hands-on experience delivering large healthcare, hospital, or medical facility developments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable certification is considered a strong advantage.
- Good command of project management methods, construction processes, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of FIDIC contract terms will be viewed favorably.
Skills
The role calls for strong leadership, planning, budgeting, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, risk management, quality control, and clear communication, along with the ability to manage pressure and multiple priorities. Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office is also important.
