Role overview

This position is with a client based in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, at a port strategically positioned close to Asian markets. The location offers shorter shipping routes and reduced transit times for exporters and importers.

Working pattern

• Pay is set at a flat rate of $79.05 per hour.
• Roster coverage runs from Monday through Sunday.
• Shifts may be scheduled during both day and night.
• Work is offered on an on-call basis.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out manual labour and general site work.
• Using jackhammers as part of day-to-day duties.
• Operating power tools safely and effectively.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of stock and equipment from trains.
• Supporting a range of general site tasks as needed.

Requirements

• A valid White Card is mandatory.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens.
• You need to be physically capable of working with tools and machinery.
• A current driver's licence and dependable transport are required.
• Reliability is essential for this role.
• You must be able to obtain a Port Pass.
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening.
