Role summary
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting a client focused on building and scaling a data-driven platform. The role is centered on forming strategic data relationships that strengthen the product, expand the data ecosystem, and contribute to revenue through data monetization.
Compensation
The role carries an annual payout in the range of USD 250,000 to USD 400,000.
What the role involves
- Research and assess prospective data partners that can improve platform coverage, data quality, and model outcomes.
- Lead discussions and close data licensing deals that support commercial goals while meeting compliance needs.
- Work closely with engineering teams to bring external data into existing pipelines and platform workflows.
- Track partnership results and use performance insights to recommend improvements or broader rollout opportunities.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance stakeholders to make sure all agreements meet applicable regulations and internal policies.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with data licensing, partnership negotiations, or similar commercial agreements in technology or AI-focused environments.
- Strong knowledge of data monetization approaches and the infrastructure that supports data products.
- Ability to evaluate partnership value using data analysis tools and structured assessment methods.
- Comfort working across engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Working familiarity with data privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA, or comparable regulations.
