Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Royal Sutton Coldfield. This position is hourly paid and suits someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road.

What the role involves

• Following correct procedures for loading the van, including manual handling and lifting heavier items safely.
• Driving in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and during use.
• Making sure customer orders arrive in excellent condition.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service with every drop-off.
• Supporting the store team when needed.
• Working on your own and managing your schedule efficiently.
• Being flexible to work varied shifts between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Candidate profile

• You must have a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years.
• No more than 6 penalty points are allowed on the licence.
• You should be upbeat, approachable, and committed to delivering a positive customer experience.
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines are important.
• A strong awareness of road safety is essential.
