Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Welton, England, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, on-site role with an hourly pay rate of £13.71. About the role
The purpose of this position is to deliver grocery orders efficiently and safely while creating a positive customer experience. As the direct point of contact for deliveries, you will be the face of the company on the road and at the customer’s home.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out van loading safely, including manual handling and lifting heavier items when needed.
- Follow all safe driving practices at all times.
- Complete routine vehicle checks before and during shifts.
- Make sure orders reach customers in excellent condition.
- Deliver friendly, professional service to customers.
- Assist in the store whenever support is needed.
- Work independently and organise your time effectively.
- Be available for shifts that may vary between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
Eligibility and requirements
Applicants should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points. The role calls for a positive and approachable manner, a strong focus on customer experience, punctuality, the ability to work to deadlines, and clear awareness of road safety.
